Member Categories

Econo-Weee aims to make compliance with the Regulations as simple and straightforward as possible. It is also trying to make it proportionate. To this end, the Scheme has four categories of producer member and an option for business end-users.

Producers

The following categories of membership are available to producers:

• Non-VAT Member
• Fixed Member
• Full Member

End-Users

A business end-user who has opted to finance the cost of collection, treatment, recovery and environmentally-sound disposal of his own WEEE may join the scheme as a 'non-producer' member. Please contact us for further information.

Fees

Membership fees are made up of the following elements:

• Annual Membership Fee
• Agency Registration Fee
• WEEE Financing Fee (Full Members only)
