What is the registration fee for?When Econo-Weee registers its members, it has to pay a fee for each member to the Environment Agency. This fee depends on the turnover of the business: £30 for businesses below the VAT threshold, £220 for businesses with a turnover of £1 million or less and £445 for businesses with a turnover above £1 million. The fee is for the Environment Agency (or SEPA in Scotland or the DoE in Northern Ireland) to register you, check the data, audit and pursue free-riders (businesses that should be registered, but are not).
