1. Are torches exempt?

No

2. I am a distributor - do I have to register in every Member State I sell in?

No

3. I am a producer of B2B EEE - do I have to register in every Member State I sell in?

4. I am a B2C producer - do I have to register in every Member State I sell in?

You have to demonstrate how you have financed your share of B2C WEEE in every Member State you sell in.

5. Can't I just get my own equipment back and have it recycled?

No.

6. Will WEEE Evidence Notes (WENs) be saleable, like packaging P(E)RNs?

No.

7. As a B2B producer, can I make my customers take on my obligations?

No.

8. Why do I have to pay twice in 2007?

First payment is for 2007 compliance period; second payment is for 2008.

9. Can I join more than one scheme?

Yes, but why would you want to? Everything you need is here!

10. I meet the definition of 'producer' but only have tiny amounts of EEE. Do I still have to comply?

Yes

11. To comply with the marking requirements, can I just stick a label on the box?

No.

12. Can I use my EPRN number as my Producer Identity Mark?

Yes.

13. What is an EPRN?

Your EEE Producer Registration Number.

14. Where do I get an EPRN?

The relevant Environment Agency will issue one to your scheme who will then provide it to you.

15. My company is part of a Group - can we all register together as one entity?

No.
